Center for Brain Health

Launching in the Spring of 2011, Dedo's latest project is creating a large 70" multi-touch table for the Center for Brain Health, one of the most advanced brain research institutes in the US. Using custom designed hardware and software, the multi-touch table will allow visitors to view a visually rich 3D representation of the brain and interact with it to discover the form and function of the brain while consuming information about the latest research being performed at the institute.

FAA Accident Data Portal

In 2009, as part of Dedo's first visit to the ITSEC 2009 Tradeshow, a large visualization of FAA accident data was compiled and visualized on 7' multi-touch video wall that utilized four projectors and custom touch sensing hardware. Since then, the portal was extended to run on HP Touchsmarts, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the iPad and other Android based mobile devices. The application allows users to search for accident data and visualize patterns using Google Maps and custom heat map visualizations. It also enables real-time audio, video and data collaboration across the internet so that physically seperated users can collaborate on data together.

Mark Miller

Chief Executive Officer

After a successful career as one of the top data warehouse architects at EDS and Deloitte & Touche, Mark founded Miller & Associates in 2002 with the vision of changing the way enterprises use and access their data. Pioneering the use of Adobe's Flex and other RIA technologies in the enterprise, Mark and his team grew Miller & Associates into an Inc. 5000 company, ranked in 2010 as the 89th fastest growing IT services firm. Building on the success of Miller & Associates, Mark then turned to the emerging interactive market, focusing on touch and gesture technologies, founding Dedo Inc in 2009.

Randy Barker

Chief Operating Officer

Leading Dedo Inc's business development, sales, and general operations, Randy makes use of his 20 years of experience in the technology market. In 1997, Randy moved to Texas from Ottawa, Canada to open the US division of TES Inc. By 2001, he and his team had positioned it as one of the most profitable divisions of the company. In 2004 Randy partnered with Mark Miller to run sales and business development for Miller & Associates.

Daniel Dura

VP Product Development

Daniel is responsible for the day-to-day management of Dedo Inc's development operations. He brings with him experience in engineering, project management and product development at companies such as Adobe, Macromedia and Fujitsu. Daniel has also helped lead business development efforts at Adobe and Macromedia with companies such as AOL, Facebook and Yahoo!, helping them develop and market software platforms to help increase engagement with software developers. Daniel continues to be a featured speaker and gives presentations on many technology topics at conferences, user groups and other developer events around the world.

Dedo Heads to SXSW

At this years SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas, Dedo was priveleged to host a panel discussing the revolution in multi-screen software development and were joined by partners and colleagues from Adobe and Nitobi. See a summary of the panel here.

Dedo at Adobe MAX 2010

For a second year, Dedo was able to bring our experience and knowledge in developing touch based applications to Adobe's premeier developer conference, MAX. Our VP of Product Development, Daniel Dura, presented a session discussing the considerations when developing touch based mobile applications.
